Freeva provides services to people who have been/are affected by domestic and sexual violence. The YP Project is a project within Freeva that provides interventions that are designed to help young people stop using abusive behaviour towards their parent/carers and or intimate partners.
We are excited to be a new Young Person’s Interventions Worker to join our team, and work with us to expand our Young Person’s Intervention Project across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland working with young people and their families to change their behaviours.
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join The YP Project team. The successful candidate for the interventions Worker role must be educated to degree level and/or have relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering intervention programmes and have experience of working with young people and their families. Evening work and occasional weekend work will be required. This post requires to candidate to hold a clean UK driving licence. This post is funded by the National Lottery until 31st March 2026.
