From 8–15 October, every donation to Freeva through The Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund will be doubled helping us reach more people affected by domestic and sexual abuse across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Every Pound Makes Twice the Difference

The Big Give: 8–15 October 2025

This October, as we mark Domestic Abuse Awareness Month, Freeva is proud to take part in The Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund.

From 8–15 October, every donation made to Freeva will be doubled meaning your support will go twice as far in helping us provide life-changing support for those affected by domestic and sexual abuse.

Domestic abuse can take many forms: emotional, physical, financial, sexual or psychological. Its impact runs deep, often leaving invisible scars long after the abuse has ended. At Freeva, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and heard.

What we do!

Our services are here for anyone affected by abuse and for those who want to change their behaviour and build healthier, safer relationships. Through our Helpline, Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advisors (IDVA & ISVA), counselling and recovery services, and with The Jenkins Project and YP Project, we provide a pathway to safety, accountability and hope.

Real change begins when we listen to survivors and stand beside those ready to change.

Each day, our teams listen to survivors who have found the courage to reach out. We also stand beside those who recognise the harm they have caused and want to make a positive change. This two-way approach  supporting both those who have experienced abuse and those who have used it is what makes Freeva unique. It’s how real change begins.

Your Support Turns Hope into Action

But we can’t do it alone. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us answer another call, support another survivor, and create another opportunity for change. And during The Big Give Week, your donation will be matched, doubling its impact and helping to build a future free from violence and abuse.

How Your Support Makes a Difference:
Every donation, big or small, helps us provide essential support to victim-survivors. Here’s what your contribution can do:
💜 £5 – Pays for a personal safety alarm or door and window alarms, helping a survivor feel safer at home.
💜 £10 – Covers the cost of an emergency toiletries bag for a victim fleeing domestic abuse.
💜 £15 – Funds session resources for children and young people with Neurodiversity who have experienced sexual abuse.
💜 £20 – Helps us answer more calls on our dedicated Helpline, ensuring no one feels alone.
💜 £25 – Provides a counselling session for a victim-survivor, offering a safe space to heal.
💜 £50 – Funds 1-2-1 support for young people struggling to maintain healthy relationships.

Remember, the journey to recovery is unique for everybody.
Know that you are not alone, and that Freeva are here whenever you need us to listen and support.
