Fundraising

How you can get involved and help to raise funds that support our vital work at Freeva.

There are loads of ways that you can get involved and help to raise funds that support our vital work at Freeva.

Whether you’re an individual, or part of a business or community, there are plenty of fundraising options to suit people of all ages and abilities.

Here’s a few ideas to get you started:

Fundraising

Birthday Fundraisers

Ask friends and family to make a donation rather than buying you a gift this year.

Physical Challenges

Ask friends and family to sponsor your participation in a physical challenge, such as a tough mudder or half-marathon.

Sponsored Silences

Fundraise for Freeva by committing to a sponsored silence. This could be verbal silence or digital silence (no devices for 24 hours!).

Bake Sales

Organise a bake sale at work, or in your local community, to raise money and enjoy some delicious homemade treats.

Events

Plan a themed party or event and charge an entrance fee. Whether it’s a ball or a local quiz night, there’s lots of scope to get creative.

Auctions, Raffles and Tombolas

Ask local businesses to donate prizes to be won and host a silent auction, raffle, or tombola.

Sponsored Steps

Challenge yourself to walk a certain amount of steps every day for a week (or month!).

Sporting Tournaments

Get competitive and organise a local sports tournament and charge a fee for spectators.

Bake Off

On your marks, get set, bake! Host a community bake off and charge a small fee for entry.

Jumble Sale

Clean out your closet and sell any unwanted items online or at a local car-boot sale.

Community Dog Walk

Get your four-legged friends involved and organise a group dog walk at a local beauty spot with doggy goody bags included!

Sponsored Skydive

Tick a once in a lifetime experience off your bucket list and raise vital funds in the process.
