Sky-Diving For Change: Taking The Leap For Freeva

On Friday 16th May 2025, a team of incredible, brave colleagues will be facing their fears and jumping out of a plane at 8,000 feet – all to raise vital funds for Freeva!

Our challenge:
Freeva (Free from Violence and Abuse) is a dedicated charity supporting individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We provide helpline support, counselling, and crisis intervention for victim-survivors while also running behavioural change programmes aimed at breaking the cycle of abuse. By offering education, advocacy, and direct intervention, Freeva works to create a world where everyone can live free from violence and fear.
Our Sky-Diving For Change team is taking on this thrilling challenge to help ensure these vital services continue reaching those who need them most.

Leap of Courage: Freeva’s Parachute Jump for a Safer Future

Taking the Leap for Change!

Our Freeva team is gearing up for an adrenaline-packed parachute jump, and it’s not just for the thrill. It’s a powerful symbol of the journey survivors’ face when escaping domestic abuse. It takes immense courage, that willingness to take a leap of faith, and the trust that support is there to guide you to safety.

With each jump, we’re raising awareness and funds to provide life-saving support to those who need it most.

How Your Support Makes a Difference:
Every donation, big or small, helps us provide essential support to victim-survivors. Here’s what your contribution can do:
💜 £5 – Pays for a personal safety alarm or door and window alarms, helping a survivor feel safer at home.
💜 £10 – Covers the cost of an emergency toiletries bag for a victim fleeing domestic abuse.
💜 £15 – Funds session resources for children and young people with Neurodiversity who have experienced sexual abuse.
💜 £20 – Helps us answer more calls on our dedicated Helpline, ensuring no one feels alone.
💜 £25 – Provides a counselling session for a victim-survivor, offering a safe space to heal.
💜 £50 – Funds 1-2-1 support for young people struggling to maintain healthy relationships.

Remember, the journey to recovery is unique for everybody.
Know that you are not alone, and that Freeva are here whenever you need us to listen and support.
