Community Events Helper 

Role Description

Support us in our mission to break the cycle of violence by raising awareness of our services at various community events. You’ll help to run a Freeva stall, alongside staff, at small local fetes through to larger festivals such as Leicester Pride. 

 What service will I be volunteering in? 

Communication and Engagement 

 What might I be doing? 

  • Engaging the public in basic conversation about what services Freeva offer 
  • Giving out leaflets or freebies  
  • Engaging the public in low key fundraising activities.
  • Setting up or packing down a stall* 
  • Potentially listening to members of the public and signposting them to the Helpline.
