Young Persons’ Workshop Facilitator

Role Description

 

What service will I be volunteering in?

‘The Young Persons’ Project

What might I be doing? 

You might be asked to help with some of the following:   

  • Co-facilitating assemblies in schools  
  • Assisting with delivering workshops in classrooms  
  • Leading workshops* (once trained)  
  • Leading small group activities, role plays and discussions suitable for specific year groups (from year 5 to year 13). 

 

What’s the commitment? 

  • We’d love it if you could give 3-4 hours roughly every 2 weeks.  
  • We are looking for volunteers to join us for 1 school year.  
  • Assemblies / workshops will take place on weekdays in school term times, usually in the mornings from 8:30/ 9am. 
  • Induction/training is likely to take place in August/September ready for school workshops to begin from September/October.
